Algebratross received today.

My brother, Roger, has spent many hours making this truly composite (no material known to man not included) 60" span beauty, a masterly one-off with an HS130 section.

Though not much wing area.
No problem, it weighs only 4.25 lbs.
:''

At least the (overdue from Oz.....hope it's not lost) Windburner has a known CG, throwing off the Algebratross for the first time is going to be a nail-biter. Far too much work gone into it to permit any damage..........

So, post one & get two. How does that work?
Surely this amounts to an opportunity to reproduce planes with a 3-D printer? Using heavy paper, of course.

Back to reality, wing underside servo arrangement.........

OK, only one image this time. That's good, so why do I feel cheated?

An ogle into the fuz.........

Thinking to maiden at RE on a good day, since the frontside is probably as kind as it gets for the likely landing/s to adjust CG & rates &, once they're nailed, straight into the back where it belongs :)

A typically powerful SW'ly at the Orme might be easier, but possibly disastrous if the calculated CG is only modestly out.

Looks like a quiver full of highly loaded wings for the autumn........... ::)

Nice bird G, your brother obviously knows what he is doing.
Hopefully see it fly this week ?

Forecast has strengthened a bit for Friday, but doubt there'll be sufficient wind to risk it.
Will need a consistent 25 mph + plus thermally air for a maiden.

However, I'll probably have a go with the Stab Elite.

Autumn is close....... :af
