Dear All

To make up for the cancelled event in May, we will hopefully
(Government rules permitting) be holding an end of season
Grand finale open event.

What I mean by open is any type of model including Gremlins,
sports models etc and a small number of helicopters
as well as the warbirds, any scale model and any jet.

There will be no ceremonial element this will be purely
an informal event.

All being well the event will take place on Friday the 23rd of
October 2020. At Tibenham airfield Norfolk NR16 1NT. 10am until dusk.

It is my, my brother Clive's and my Nephew Muffler's birthday in October
so this would be a nice present for us. I felt cheated at my Bob event
after battling so hard to get it on only to be thwarted by the gusty
wind conditions.Hopefully we will get some good weather at this event.

The cost,
Spectators suggested amount £2
Pilots TBA

This will be a preregister event only.
So I will need your name (Real) and a contact number.
That is all you have to do to register.

As things are at the moment the cafe will be open.
I will post guidelines for the event regarding the virus
nearer the date. What ever the situation they will be robust.

I hope some of you will be able to attend.

Regards Phil G.

Martin, thank you for your kind words and support.
I am glad you enjoyed yourself.

Dear All
I would like to thank all those who made the effort to attend the Grand finale model event.
The weather did all kinds of things but plenty of flying did take place, and as always to an
extremely high standard. There were no losses, which is always nice. I think the worst thing
that happened was a Corsair wheels up landing with no damage.
As always I would like to thank my helper's on the day.

Muffler
Tony C.

And a big thank you to our two superb photographers.

Pete C.
Dave B.

Plus I would also like to thank Lee R. for allowing me to have two flights with
his magnificent Spitfire and Richard B. for allowing me to have two flights with
his excellent Yak 54.

Thank you all once again for your support.
Regards Phil G.

Dear All
I travelled down to Tibenham today to pay the money over to the NGC as Rachel
had gone home before we packed in yesterday. To cut a long story short, one of
the NGC members has written a book about the infamous Kassel raid. I had some
birthday money so I purchased a copy.
Below is a video about the book, the author is Eric Ratcliffe.

The book can be purchased off of Amazon, all the proceeds of the book
will go to repairs on runway 15/33
